I'd always loved scents, but synthetic fragrances gave me headaches. I learned their ingredients weren't natural or even tested for safety and these chemicals were hidden behind a "trade secret" loophole. It’s no wonder department store perfume counters felt su ocating and left me nauseous.

I dove deep into the history of perfumery and discovered something beautiful: people have been annoiting themselves with plant extracts since ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia. It was only when chemists learned to cheaply imitate nature that we lost the connection to these real aromas. Once I learned what was inside these synthetic imitations — phthalates, neurotoxins, hormone disruptors — I couldn't ignore it! Over the past 30 years, I’ve been on a mission to bring real perfume back, rooted in nature, free from synthetic imitation.

That journey has taken me to the rose valley of Bulgaria, lavender and chamomile fields of France — standing in the fields, breathing it all in, witnessing the harvest and distilling of these precious essences firsthand. There I met the people who have made this their lives work, some for generations. Their devotion to quality and authenticity moved me deeply — and it’s that same spirit we brought to our lab when we set out to create these perfumes.

These experiences inspired everything. Together with my partner Brian, and Heather, our gifted aromatherapist, we spent months, even years creating each perfume not as a formula, but as a composition. Like musicians finding harmony, we each bring our own nose to the lab, blending essences into something that connects deeply with the heart.

These are not like other perfumes. Rare and delicate, subtle and sexy — alluring without over-powering. They wear softly. Like a whisper, a soft breeze, a tender touch.
